Scholarship
Aims
To recognize our fresh graduates
- For their endeavour to obtain the admission to the local government-funded bachelor’s degree programmes;
- To relief their financial need;
- To continue to pursue academic excellence.
The Value of the Scholarship
- Up to 2 awards, excluding students who are admitted via the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme.
- In general, the scholarship awarded for each recipient is $42,100. If the tuition fee payable is not $42,100, the scholarship awarded will be adjusted by following the principles below : (a) If the tuition fee is more than $42,100, the scholarship awarded will be $42,100.
(b) If the tuition fee is less than $42,100, the scholarship awarded will be taken the less amount by comparing with the tuition fee payable for the first year of the degree programme. - The scholarship shall be tenable for four years subject to satisfactory progress of the eligible applicant (from Year 1 to Year 4).
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be
- Current graduates of our school who are admitted to the local government-funded bachelor degree programme at a recognized tertiary institution in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
- A full-time undergraduate;
- Able to present proof of attendance at each academic year with good academic result or average grade B (GPA 3.0) and good conduct. If the scholarship recipient's performance does not meet the said requirements, the school will stop issuing scholarship to him/her.
Choi Cheung Kok Foundation Endeavour Scholarship
Aims
- To recognize our S6 new graduates for their endeavour to attain the minimum admission requirement to the sub-degree programmes (including associate degree and higher diploma), and continue their study in local or oversea college;
- To encourage them persist to endeavor and strive for academic excellence.
The Value and quota of the Scholarship
- Up to 6 awards.
- The value of each prize is $20,000.
Eligibility
The applicant must be
- Graduates of our school who obtained five subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language in HKDSE, and admitted to the recognized local or oversea tertiary institution;
- Not receiving other awards offered by the Board of Choi Cheung Kok Foundation Company Limited.
