CMA Choi Cheung Kok Secondary School is one of the pioneers in facilitating sustainable education in the territory. Starting from 2021, we have joined the pilot scheme of Towards Net Zero School Project organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association. We have joined the Towards Net Zero School Project funded by the Sustainable Development Fund so as to target for combating global carbon reduction and achieve the long-term target of carbon neutrality in 2050. With the combined efforts of teachers and students, we have adopted diversified strategies, organic integration, natural connection, mutual coordination, learning within and beyond the classroom, whole-school approach in order to let our students understand the importance of sustainable development. By doing so, it is our pleasure to receive the award in Towards Net Zero School Project so as to recognize our dedicated efforts in promoting carbon neutrality as well as carbon peak in our school. |
