Resume Face-to-face Lessons from 24 May (S1 to S5)

The Education Bureau (EDB) announced that schools in Hong Kong can resume face-to-face lessons starting from 24 May.  All classes will have half day face-to-face lessons from 08:20 to 13:05. For Form 5 students, online supplementary lessons will continue as usual in the afternoon.

Points to note:

1. Our school will try to clean and disinfect the school premises. Besides, we will also encourage all the staff to take regular virus test. If they have fever, they must not return to school.

2. Cooperation from parents and students are important for us to maintain a clean and safe environment, so we call on your support to step up environmental hygiene in the household, and, on top of that, implement the following measures strictly:

2.1     Pay attention to the health condition of your child. He/She should stay away from school and see a doctor immediately if symptom, especially fever, is detected.

2.2     Take your child’s temperature before he/she goes to school every day. Fill in the “Temperature Record Form” and sign your name on it. Your child should return the completed record sheet to class teacher daily for checking.

2.3     Also take the temperature and complete the record sheet during holidays.

2.4     To prevent infection, please ask your child to wear a mask (also applicable when taking the nanny vans or other transportations) and bring tissue paper and water bottle to school every day. (The drinking facilities are temporarily closed during the pandemic).

2.5     In case of any of the following situations, you are requested to notify the class teacher at 24520681 immediately to facilitate our prompt action in taking contingency measures and informing the EDB:

(a)     your child has been confirmed infection of COVID-19; or

(b)     your child has been classified as “close contact of an infected person” with COVID-19*

(*In general, close contact means having cared for, having lived with, or having had direct contact with respiratory secretions and body fluids of a confirmed patient. )

3. Parents are kindly be reminded to read carefully the Parents’ Handbook (P.24-P.28) distributed on August 22, 2020 regarding "Maintain Personal Hygiene", "Maintain a Social Distance" and "Cleaning and Decontamination" to understand the school's preparations for students’ health.

4. The drinking fountain services are temporarily suspended. Students have to bring water and drink plenty of it.

5. With concerted efforts contributed by different parties, we look forward to overcoming the adversities of the pandemic so that students, teachers and parents can resume normal living and healthy life.
