The Department of Citizenship and Social Development has been employing multiple innovative strategies to nurture our students with “Root in Hong Kong, Heart in China, and Outlook on the World.” We have proactively promoted sustainable development education to nurture intellectually active, socially caring and environmentally-friendly students with cross-subject collaboration. The new book launch conference was definitely a milestone in the journey of promoting sustainable development education in our school. We do believe the publication of this new book can recognize our relentless efforts in promoting sustainable development and achieve the synergy effect of “one plus one is greater than two” and thus, starting a new chapter for local sustainability education together.
