Our Citizenship and Social Development (including the Department Head Mr. POON Sen Kin, and panel members Mr. CHAN Yat Shing and Mr. TSANG Ka Chi) received the “Educational Research Award Scheme 2022/23” Commendation Award from the Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals under the Education Bureau. With the concreted efforts of his CS team members, they wrote a research paper regarding the effectiveness of new flipped classroom in enhancing non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students’ motivation in self-autonomous learning so as to encourage teachers to try out, improve and share new or effective pedagogical practices through educational research; further enhance teachers' professionalism and facilitate the learning and teaching effectiveness of CS subject. The research report received a compliment and our colleagues will strive ahead with our students. Overall, we hope our students aim at capitalizing on Hong Kong's strengths to serve the country's needs in the future and proactively take forward the development of new quality productive forces and high-quality development of the motherland with “Root in Hong Kong, Heart in China, and Outlook on the World.”
